Introduction
SOHAM Group of Companies started its operation in India in 1985. Group Cos. are engaged in the area of operation of pumping system designing, erection & supply for Process Industries, Sugar Industry, Power stations, Automobile Industries etc. Group is also engaged in the area of consultancy in the area of vibration analysis for Thermal Power Plants. SOHAM Engineering later entered in to custom built spraying systems and industrial piping layouts, as natural expansion of business.
New Business Venture
SOHAM Group, through its other activities, has been associated with M/s. Thermax for last 15 years. As the Managing Director of SSCPL had a close contact with the automobile & consumer industry, the group decided to venture into Industrial Paint Finishing business. M/s. Thermax has a very good reputation in this market segment. However based on their strategic decision to focus on the core competence they hived off this business. SOHAM Group took over this business from Thermax Surface Coatings Ltd in the new company SSCPL. The ownership transfer brings to SSCPL all the technology developed by TSCL, knowledge, skills, manpower & customers present and past along with pending orders.
Technical expertise and the Strength
Designing of industrial surface coating systems involves several critical factors. A team with good knowledge duly supported by working experience can only offer the system to perform to your finishing requirements. Continuous update of technology, through knowledge of materials of construction, trends of market needs of finishing, across various industrial sectors are some of the points to mention. Today’s SSCPL team has average experience of 20 years of engineering such systems. TSCL had pioneering role in establishing themselves in all the spheres of technology – right from conventional liquid painting to the latest Electrodeposition and Autophoretic coating technology. SSCPL has acquired the same through technology transfer and the employee transfer agreement from TSCL Wide experience of TSCL in this field and SSCPL’s focused approach to this activity is a very strong point why customers are comfortable in working with SSCPL.

Mr. C.A. Gadgil (Shekhar Gadgil) is himself an engineer & M.B.A from the most reputed Institutes from India having over 25 years of experience in the field of Industrial engineering, system design and consultancy and leads the group.

Mrs. Alka C Gadgil is a H.R. professional looking after all the industrial relation activities along with administration. Advocate A.D. Patwardhan from Pune who is a well-known personality in labour welfare and labour relations assists her.
Head Business Development
Mr. Soham C Gadgil is a BE Mechanical Engineer from University of Wales, Swansea (UK) and has over 5 years of experience in family business engaged in the field Finishing Systems, System Designs and consultancy. He also looks into New Ventures and Financial Investments for the Group Company.
Chartered Accountants
M/s. Kunte Vaidya are the Chartered Accountants for Soham Group & SSCPL for last 16 years. Mr. Vaidya is known figure in this field. He has wide experience of consulting to M/s. Bharat Forge, Kalyani’s, Alfa Laval, TVS, Oswal, Hero etc in India and abroad.
Collaboration & Technology Tie Ups
SSCPL is working with world's renowned Surface Finishing organization under the tie-up agreements with M/s. KANPE PLANT ENGINEERING CO., (KPPE) JAPAN. This provides us the access to the latest painting technology and helps us in keeping ourselves updated with the advances in global scenario. Indian users are benefited to have these implemented at a very reasonable cost and consistent service. Our Other Collaborations are with M/s Membracon (UK) for Paint Filtration Systems.
